Billion-tree Tsunami is our pride, says kaptan

ISLAMABAD:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday said that Billion-tree tsunami was the first environmental project which was being praised in the entire world and the project has been our pride.
Reacting to the criticism of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on the Billion-tree tsunami project, he said that the attack on the project just because the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) started it was not wise.
Instead of targeting the Billion-tree tsunami project, we should be worried about forests in Punjab and Sindh, he said.
Khan added that the timber mafia was occupying the forests in Punjab and Sindh and were cutting the trees.APP/AFP
