United dismantled the top and middle order of Zalmi, after they won the toss and put the Zalmi in to bat first.
Opener Tamim Iqbal, who had scored a blistering 62 in the rain-abandoned match against Gladiators on Friday, fell for just 4 today. He was followed soon afterwards by Mohammad Hafeez (10), Kamran Akmal (19), Sohaib Maqsood (0), Shakib al Hasan (5) and Eoin Morgan (28).
