Pakistan seek $4.9 billion loan from China under CPEC projects

ISLAMABAD - Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said Pakistan has a serious debt problem and the issue can be tackle by increase in exports.

Speaking at a seminar in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said there is nothing to hide about China Pakistan Economic Corridor.

He said China gave Pakistan loans of four point nine billion US Dollars under CPEC.

The Minister said intra-regional trade is important for economic growth and at present the East Asian countries has intra-regional trade of twenty-seven percent of their gross domestic product.
