Private University VC arrested by CTD Sindh over allegations of funding Al Qaeda

KARACHI: Counter Terrorism Department has conducted a raid in private university near Clifton and arrested its VC over the allegations of funding to Al Qaeda. As per details, Vice Chancellor Adil Masood was allegedly involved in Safoora incident and funding to Al Qaeda. According to CTD, he was arrested on the indication of Khalid Yousaf who was facilitator of Safoora incident. CTD also claimed that Adil Masood is business partner of Saad Aziz who is the central accused of Safoora incident. CTD officials further added that police has got solid evidence against accused Adil Masood during the investigation of his banks accounts.
