Monsoon system to enter Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (APP): A weak system of Monsoon rain will enter the country on August 22 and bring light rain in mainly upper parts of the country as well as in Tharparkar and Mirpur Khas divisions

Talking to APP, Senior Meteorologist, Muhammad Ayaz said under the new weather system, there will be chances of light rain in mostly upper parts and some parts of Tharparkar and Mirpur Khasdivisions.

He said the met office is not seeing any chances of significant rain during the next many days. Light rain will occur in upper parts with occasional gaps.

The met expert said the light rain to start on August 22 will be continued till August 24.

The rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours was Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Kalam 01 and traces in Gilgit Baltistan: Hunza.

The maximum highest temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours was Turbat 42 C, Dalbandin 41 C and Nokkundi 40 C.
