Nawaz Sharif hints at extending stay in London: sources

LONDON – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he will extend his stay in London if the court granted him exemption from appearance.
Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that his lawyers will file an application seeking exemption from appearance in court.
“I will return to Pakistan on Sunday if the court did not grant him exemption,” he said.
Nawaz Sharif confirmed that his meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in scheduled on Saturday.
