In Peshawar, the US Consul General, Shante Moore, paid a visit to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P) office on Sunday, engaging in a comprehensive meeting with the party's leadership.
PTI-P Chairman Pervez Khattak warmly welcomed the US consul general during her first visit to the central office of their party in Peshawar. Alongside, party Vice Chairman Mahmood Khan, Secretary Information Ziaullah Bangash, and various other party leaders were in attendance at the gathering.
As per PTI-P representatives, Pervez Khattak deliberated on the current political landscape in the country and provided an overview of their party's manifesto, constitution, and election slogan.
This visit marked the first occasion where a US diplomat had visited the office of a political party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pervez Khattak, along with a group of former PTI parliamentarians, had parted ways with former Prime Minister Imran Khan and the mainstream PTI, establishing their own political entity, PTI-P, and commencing their political campaign within the province.
