Three Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops in worst act of state terrorism

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq-led Hurriyat forum and other pro-freedom leaders have strongly denounced custodial murder of a youth in Sopore and brutal killing of a woman and three other youth in Srinagar by Indian police and troops.

In a statement in Srinagar, Hurriyat forum termed the killings as gruesome acts by Indian forces.

The Hurriyat forum also welcomed statement of UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, in which he called for peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute.

It said UN should ensure settlement of Kashmir dispute through dialogue between Pakistan and India as per the wishes of people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Batamaloo and its adjoining areas remained shut against killing of woman and youth.

Meanwhile, Indian Army during a judicial inquiry has admitted that three youth killed by its troops during an operation in Shopian on July 18 this year were civilians and not militants.
