PTI government takes the final decision over the JUI F Azadi March

ISLAMABAD – PTI government takes the final decision over the JUI F Azadi March in Islamabad.

PTI government has decided to stop the Azadi March of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) outside Islamabad.

According to sources, an important consultation meeting was held regarding the possible Azadi March of the opposition against the incumbent government.

The meeting was chaired by IG Islamabad and attended by DIG Security, DIG Operations, Director Safe City, RPO Rawalpindi, DPO Nowshera, DPO Attock and motorway police officers.

Police officials considered keeping the law and order situation intact during the Azadi March and sit-in. It was decided in the meeting that the march participants would be stopped outside Islamabad while ensuring the safety of the lives of the citizens.

Proper security arrangements will also be made throughout the city to ensure the free movement of citizens.

Earlier, Leader of Opposition in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif while announcing to participate in the Azadi March said that the government has badly failed to deliver.
