CPEC: Chinese Ambassador unveils construction of 30 hospitals across Pakistan
BEIJING - Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing has appreciated the resolve of Pakistan's government to eradicate menace of corruption and alleviation of poverty.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad today, he hoped that Prime Minister Imran Khan will succeed in his ambitions to put the country on road to progress and prosperity.
He said the Chinese government is working in thirty-seven various sectors in Pakistan.
The Chinese Ambassador said thirty hospitals will be constructed in the rural areas under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
He said his country will continue to extend cooperation to eliminate poverty from Pakistan. He said there is need to focus on developmental projects to eradicate the poverty.
He said China introduced reforms at large scale for elimination of poverty. He also stressed the need for paying attention towards infrastructure.
Speaking on the occasion, Parliamentary Secretary for Planning, Development and Reforms, Kanwal Shauzab said elimination of poverty is possible through promoting education.
She said technical education will have to be given to the new generation for a bright future.
Kanwal Shauzab said the government is fully focused on development of industries to achieve goals of development and prosperity. She said issue of unemployment will be addressed through promoting business activities in the country.
