Will Imran Khan be disqualified from National Assembly on Nov 2 ?

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday served a notice to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to appear before it in person or through counsel on November 2 at 10 am at its secretariat in Islamabad in connection with reference for his disqualification as Member of the National Assembly (MNA).
ECP issues notice to Imran Khan
The reference was filed by Muhammad Talal Chaudhry and six other MNAs seeking disqualification of Imran Khan as MNA under Clause (2) of Article 63 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973.
According to the notice, if Imran failed to comply the matter would be decided in his absence. As the proceedings were time bound, the respondent was directed to furnish reply also on the date fixed, it added.
