CTD Punjab kills 3 Al Qaeda terrorists in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) is leading the way against the terrorists in the Punjab province after the announcement of the National Action Plan.

Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), on intelligence reports, carried out an operation in Aroop area in Gujranwala.. The terrorists present in the area opened fire at the raiding party which was retaliated by CTD personnel as a result three terrorists were killed.
According to CTD spokesperson, the dead terrorists belonged to a banned outfit Al Qaeda and were planning to carry out attacks on sensitive installation in the city.

Huge cache of arms and ammunitions was also recovered from the custody of the dead terrorists.
