Pakistan Oman vow to enhance bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD - A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Senate of Pakistan and Majlis Al Dawla of Oman to increase parliamentary cooperation and exchange between the two upper houses.
The agreement was signed in Muscat today (Sunday) during a visit of Senate delegation led by Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.
The invitation of this visit was extended by Chairman of the State Council of Oman Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al-Manthri.
The delegation also witnessed the military parade as special guests, which was presided over by Sultan Qaboos Bin Said al Said to mark the 48th National Day of Oman.
The delegation held meetings with several senior officials in the Sultanate and leadership of the Upper and Lower Houses of Oman.
The visit comes within the framework of positive bilateral relations between the Sultanate and Pakistan, and the two countries' keenness to strengthen the existing cooperation between them in several fields.
