Asset Declaration Scheme will pave way to register fake accounts: Hammad

Minister of State for Revenue Muhammad Hammad Azhar says the Asset Declaration Scheme would pave the way to register all fake accounts and eliminate the menace of corruption.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the basic purpose of the Amnesty Scheme was to document all illegal accounts rather than to generate revenue.
The Minister of State said this scheme is more fruitful and different from the schemes of previous governments.
He said through this scheme, the incumbent government is providing a chance to illegal accounts holders to index them otherwise appropriate and stern action would be taken against them.
