Commission on Narcotics Drugs approves Pakistan resolution with support of China and Russia

VIENNA - Commission on Narcotics Drugs has unanimously approved a resolution move by Pakistan for the eradication of narcotics from educational institutions.

The annual meeting of the Commission was held in Vienna, Austria.

The Secretary Ministry of Narcotics Control Iqbal Mehmood thanked all member countries for supporting Pakistan's resolution and termed it a milestone in the struggle to curb the transportation of drugs in educational institutions of whole world.

Belarus, Libya, Nigeria, Paraguay, Philippines, China, Russia, Indonesia and Vietnam also supported the resolution submitted by Pakistan.

This resolution will support the special campaign to eradicate drugs from educational institutions.
