Imran Khan granted bail by DSJ in five cases

*ISLAMABAD: The district and session court in Islamabad on Monday granted bail to the former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in five cases against him. *
During the hearing, additional session judge East Abdul Ghafoor Kakar approved the bail pleas of the former prime minister in five cases against an Rs5,000 surety bond in each case.
Imran Khan also filed a plea to exempt him from proceedings in the cases filed against at four police stations in Islamabad.
Previously link, former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan obtained interim bail in 10 cases filed by the incumbent government against him, hours after journalist Imran Riaz Khan and Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh were arrested.
According to details, PTI leader Babar Awan appeared before the court on behalf of Imran Khan in the district court and pleaded that the PTI chairman could not appear before the court owing to a threat to his life.
