Iran takes US to ICJ over re-imposed sanctions

TEHRAN: Iran has filed a complaint with the International Court of Justice to hold the US accountable for its re-imposition of unilateral sanctions.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Twitter that Iran is committed to the rule of law in the face of US contempt for diplomacy and legal obligations.
The Foreign Minister said that it is imperative to counter US habit of violating international law.
Iran has repeatedly accused the US of imposing illegal sanctions on Iran after pulling out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
