Furnace oil prices raised drastically in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - Prices of furnace oil have been increased by the oil-marketing companies by around Rs1334 per ton after an increase in international oil prices.
After the addition, the furnace oil price has rose to Rs77442 per ton.
During the fiscal year 2017-2018, the price has recorded an augmentation of Rs31878 per ton.
On June 30 2018, the furnace oil price was at Rs77788 per ton while in June 2017, it was at Rs45910 per ton.
The electricity prices will also witness a hike following the increase in furnace oil prices.
