Govt working to regulate sale of agriculture tubewell water

MULTAN: (APP) Director General Agriculture (Extension) Punjab Dr Muhammad Anjum Ali has said that agriculture department is working to regulate sale of tubewell water for irrigation purpose.
The government has reduced prices of electricity tariff remarkably in order to facilitate peasants, he said this in a ceremony held here on Monday.
Anjum Ali stated that tubewell owners would not be allowed to adjust prices of water by their own choice.
The DG Agriculture informed the farmers that government was also constructing warehouses with an objective to offer facility to store crops.
