Target killing reduced by 80% and extortion by 53% in Karachi after operations: IG Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh Inspector General Ghulam Haider Jimali claimed that the incidents of target killing have reduced by 80% while the incidents of extortion reduced by 53% in Karachi.

 

As per details, he was addressing the passing out parade of 28th batch of elite force. IG Ghulam Haider said that Sindh Police has rendered matchless sacrifices to establish peace in Karachi.

 

He added that Sindh Police will fulfill its responsibilities to protect life and property of masses. Sindh Police has also rendered its sacrifices to ensure success of Karachi operation.

 

Ghulam Haider express his satisfaction over the performance of Sindh Police and said that 75 officers and soldiers embraced martyrdom while 50 notorious dacoits had been killed by police last year.

 

Sindh IG vowed that Karachi operation will be taken to its logical end.
