Huge amount of arms and ammunitions to be used in terrorist activities recovered in Lahore

LAHORE: Lahore Police conduced raid in Kahna, area of Lahore and arrested 8 smugglers who were allegedly involved in illegal weapons smuggling. The police has also recovered huge cache of arms and ammunitions from their possession.
As per details, the accused purchased weapons from Dara Adam Khail and sold it in Lahore and others cities for terrorist activities. Lahore CCPO Amin Wanes addressed a press conference in his office regarding the arrested smugglers.
DIG Operation Lahore Dr. Haider Ashraf, SSP investigation Hassan Mushtaq, SP CIA Omer Virk, SSP Cant Imtiaz Sarver, SP Model Town Mustansar Feroz, SP Iqbal Town Dr. Iqbal and others senior officials were also present at this occasion.
Lahore CCPO said that special teams have been formed under the supervision of DIG operation and SSP Investigation Lahore to crack down against smugglers of illegal weapons.
He added that the accused identified as Haji Khan, Sahar Gill, Mubashir Hussain, Zohaib, Rana Adil, Shah Zola and Sabir Rehman. He further stated that Police teams are also conducting raids to arrest others smugglers on the identification of arrested accused.
