Visit of Saudi Prince resounding confidence of KSA in policies of PM: Analyst

Investors and analysts have expressed confidence that the Saudi investment and business interest in Pakistan will usher well for progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

Talking to media before Pak-Saudi Business Conference in Islamabad on Monday, the Head of Saudi Business Delegation Fahad al Bash said his delegation comprising representatives from telecom, IT, agriculture, tourism, oil and gas and other sectors will explore the business opportunities available in Pakistan for Saudi investment.

Fahad al Bash said besides oil and gas, the Saudi investors will also look into areas of minerals, IT and education.

Nosheen Waseem, Member Saudi Council of Chambers and a Saudi businesswoman said entertainment industry in Saudi Arabia is opening up and there is a lot of scope for enhancing culture and media links between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

A Pakistani businessman and investor in Saudi Arabia Adnan Ahmad said Pak-Saudi business relations are a two-way street.

Chairman Punjab Board of Investment and Trade Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said Pakistan has raw materials available along with the blessing of four seasons. He said Saudi Arabia is a big market for Pakistani agri products also. 

Renowned Analyst and Director News Radio Pakistan Javed Khan Jadoon said the visit of Saudi Crown-Prince Mohammad bin Salman is a resounding confidence of Saudi Arabia in policies of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He said the liberalizing of visa regime and improving ease of doing business in the country by the incumbent government will further improve the business and investment climate.
