Pakistan High Commission to hold Councillors convention 2018 on February 22

LONDON:The High Commission for Pakistan in London will hold the "Councilors Convention-2018" on Saturday.
This is the 2nd Councilors Convention in London and is being organized after receiving positive feedback from the participants previous Councilors Convention.
According to the statement, the purpose of the initiative is to further strengthen the bond with the The Pakistani community in the United Kingdom and to celebrate their success in various walks of life.
Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK will be the chief Besides the inaugural session, the Convention will have two sessions and discussion will take place along the following themes:
1. Diaspora's role in furthering Pakistan-UK relationship
2. Youth Engagement and Women Empowerment.
The speakers will be a mix of MPs, Lords, Councillors/Mayors and experts from various walks of life.
The event will be held from 9:30am to 4:00pm at the Royal Nawaab Restaurant, London UB6 8DW Previously, similar Councillors Conventions have been organized at Bradford and Birmingham Consulates of Pakistan.App
