NEW DELHI: BJP MLA claimed that Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi is a traitor and should be ‘hanged’ or ‘shot’.
BJP leader Kailash Chaudhary claimed that Rahul Gandhi is supporting JNU students and should be punished.
He stated that students raised anti-national slogans and shouted pro Pakistan slogans in JNU and Rahul stands with them is an evidence of treason.
He gave these remarks during his address to farmers rally.He also demanded apology from Rahul Gandhi.
The video went viral on whatsapp and social media.
Congress leaders condemned the act and demanded immediate suspension and legal proceedings against BJP leader.
Rahul Gandhi is in trouble due to showing solidarity with JNU students against the arrest of their union leader.
A petition on sedition charges is also filed against Rahul Gandhi in Allahabad court for supporting anti-national elements in JNU protest.
