Pak-US ministerial level strategic talks to be held on February 29

ISLAMABAD: The sixth round of the Pak-US strategic talks will be held on February 29 in Washington.
According to Foreign Office Spokesperson, Advisor to PM Nawaz on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will lead the Pakistani delegation while US Foreign Secretary John Kerry will lead US delegation in strategic talks.
As per Foreign Office statement, it will be the third session of strategic talks between Pak-US on ministerial level after the current government came in power. Six fields have been included in strategic talks regarding mutual cooperation.
The six fields include economy, energy, education, science and technology, anti terrorism and defense. The meeting of relevant ministries has already been held under the chairmanship of Sartaj Aziz in this regard. The meetings reviewed the preparation for the strategic talks.
Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and other concerned ministers attended the meeting.
