Pak-Afghan transit trade to be enhanced from Tajikistan to India
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to start movement of trucks on trial according to transit trade here at Thursday.

 

According to joint declaration of Pak-Afghan Chambers of Commerce, the decision was taken in the meeting of chambers of commerce on February 14 and 15 in this regard.

 

Members from both sides participated in the meeting. According to the draft, Afghan trucks which go to India via Pakistan, can bring Pakistani export products to Afghanistan on their way back while Pakistani trucks which go to Tajikistan via Afghanistan will be allowed to bring export cargo of Tajikistan and Central-Asia coming back in Pakistan.

 

Pakistan will prepare the draft of this agreement within one month and present it to Afghanistan.
