Pakistan and Turkey to expand money laundering and counterterrorism cooperation

*ISLAMABAD - Pakistan and Turkey have agreed to expand bilateral cooperation to curb money laundering and terrorism.*

As per details, both Pakistan and Turkey agreed to boost bilateral cooperation to curtail money laundering and to choke down terror-financing through all possible measures, in a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu today.

Pakistan also informed the Turkish guests of its initiative to counter terrorism and extremism in the country. Turkish interior minister offered to expand training and capacity-building facility for the Pakistani law enforcement agencies and the police.

On the occasion, the Turkish interior minister said that Pakistan’s Armed Forces have been valiantly fighting this war and they have defeated terrorists and cleaned each and every inch of Pakistani territory from terrorists.

Earlier today, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu called on PM Imran Khan in Islamabad. During the meeting, both sides discussed ways and means to further enhance bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.
