In a big signal of improved security, British Airways resume direct flights in Pakistan after a decade
ISLAMABAD - The British Airways is all set to resume its flight operations in Pakistan from June next year after ten years of suspension.
British High Commissioner Thomas Drew on Tuesday posted a video on Twitter and announced the development in Urdu language.
In a video message, Thomas Drew said “I am glad that British Airways in resuming its flights in Pakistan after ten years. From opening of direct link between Pakistan and UK it is clear that law and order situation in Pakistan has improved and scope of education and trade is expanding between the two countries.
He said he would looking forward to arrival of the first British Airways flight in June 2019.
