Nawaz Sharif incapable of initiating movement against judiciary: Imran

OKARA: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said Sunday that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is incapable of initiating a movement against the judiciary.

Addressing a public gathering in Okara on Sunday, while calling Nawaz Sharif a coward asked the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president if he had ever run a movement in his life.

Khan said that corruption is carried out while Nawaz Sharif was holding power. “I have never been in power,” said Imran.

The PTI chairman said Nawaz Sharif was comparing Panama cases with his disqualification cases against.

He said that the ex-PM made properities worth billions of rupees during his tenure. Nawaz has made 30 factories during his tenure. He said,

Commenting on his disqualification reference, the PTI chairman said that he submitted 60 documents in the Supreme Court, while the PML-N president only presented a Qatari letter to justify his wealth. The letter of Qatari prince was not more than a lie, he added.

Reprimanding Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Imran Khan titled him a big drama and said that people had now figured out his dramatics and added that Shahbaz will soon be caught in Hudaybia reference.

“I never enjoyed playing against weak teams, that’s why I want Shahbaz Sharif to at least put up a fight in 2018,” he added.

Khan went on to say that the PTI government will recover each penny of Pakistanis from these corrupt looters and will spend on hospitals and schools for which it is merited.

Imran paid tribute to late PTI member Saloni Bukhari and said she was the real supporter of the party. “She joined the PTI when everyone was at him,” he said.
