Former premier Imran Khan said the country needs an army so he will not say anything that will harm the army. But, he said that the army was on board during his visit to Russia as before leaving for Russia, he made a telephonic contact with Chief Of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa who said to him that we should go.
He also said that Russia was ready to give wheat and oil to Pakistan at 30 per cent low rates to the international market.
While we were also told not to visit and to vote against Russia in the United Nations, Imran added.
Anyhow, he accepted that it was a mistake to file a reference against Justice Faiz Issa, adding that there was also no need to go into a clash with the judiciary unnecessarily.
