PM Imran's visit to China would further enhance bilateral ties: Yao Jing
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing has said that the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to China next week would further enhance the bilateral cooperation in China Pakistan Economic Corridor projects.
Addressing a book launching ceremony in Islamabad today (Wednesday), he said that CPEC is now being opened for investors from around the world.
The Ambassador said during the visit, a number of Memoranda of Understanding would be signed for initiating new projects of social sector under the CPEC.
He said hundreds of vocational centers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan are being upgraded to prepare skilled labour to fulfill the growing need in the upcoming CPEC projects.
The Chinese envoy said as many as eight companies are working jointly with the Pakistani companies in the flagship project of Chinese grand Belt and Road Initiative.
Speaking on this occasion, Chairman Pakistan-China Institute Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed said that CPEC has helped Pakistan becoming hub of regional connectivity and after completion of the mega project, the country would set on the path of rapid development.
