AJK President urges students to support Kashmiris through social media

ISLAMABAD:President Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Masood Khan Tuesday urged students and youth to support people of occupied Kashmir and highlight India's atrocities through social media.

Addressing an award distribution ceremony of A and O level students of Roots Millennium Schools, at Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA), he said the students should contribute in Kashmir freedom struggle by highlighting Indian atrocities on twitter, facebook and other social media accounts.

He asked the students going to pursue their studies abroad on scholarship in various world leading universities to return after completing their studies to servie the motherland.

The brain drain could become brain gain by coming back of competent and qualified persons as Pakistan is set to offer lucrative packages to them.

Pakistan is bracing for industrial revolution, you the qualified people must come back to serve the nation. Pakistan would definitely become developed country by the year 2050.

He said Kashmiris are being persistently tortured, raped and their basic rights are being trampled by the Indian occupied forces in the occupied valley.

He lamented that the international community was not taking notice of Indian human right violations in held Kashmir.
He urged the students to visit Azad Kashmir as infrastructure is being developed fast in Azad Kashmir. The best time to tour Azad Kashmir is from April to September.

Chief Executive Officers of Roots Millennium Schools Faisal Mushtaq said the 50 students of the school have won hundred percent scholarships in various universities across the globe. APP/AFP
