On the reported date of Sunday, Malaysian carrier Batik Air made a significant announcement regarding its upcoming plans, declaring the commencement of non-stop flights connecting Karachi and Kuala Lumpur, set to launch on the 31st of October 2023. Following the evident triumph of its daily flight operations to Lahore, Batik Air has chosen to expand its services, creating a new aerial link between Karachi and Kuala Lumpur, with the airline planning to operate flights on this route three times a week.
This new route marks a noteworthy development in enhancing the ties between Malaysia and Pakistan, simultaneously providing increased opportunities for both business and leisure travel. The decision to initiate this service stems from the airline's firm belief in the potential for growth along this dynamic Karachi route.
This enthusiasm is underpinned by Batik Air's prior accomplishments in establishing its presence in Pakistan, a journey that began in March 2016.
Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy, the Group Strategy Director of Batik Air and Lion Group, has expressed his optimism regarding this vibrant route, emphasizing their enthusiasm as they embark on this endeavor. Drawing upon their successful track record with previous routes, he firmly believes that the winning formula of excellent service, competitive fares, and efficient operations will translate into success for Batik Air on the Karachi-Kuala Lumpur route as well.
In light of the positive response garnered by Batik Air's Lahore route, the airline's leadership holds a strong conviction that these same principles will continue to drive success and contribute to the expansion of their network on this exciting new corridor
