Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Faiz Esa, took a significant step as soon as he assumed office.
He formed the first bench for hearings. Justice Faiz Esa had maintained for the past several months that until a decision is made on the Practice and Procedure Act in the Supreme Court, they would not be part of any bench, and he had also expressed this view when separating from the bench hearing the military court case.
Now, after taking the oath of his office, he has formed the first bench for hearings, which will take place tomorrow. The hearing of the case will be conducted by a 14-member full court of the Supreme Court
