PESHAWAR - Over the much hyped issue of Compulsory Veil for School girls, KP government takes the final decision of backtracking on the earlier instructions.
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has withdrawn decision of declaring veil compulsory for female students of secondary and higher secondary government educational institutions.
According to details, the move was taken in the morning but retracted in the evening, creating confusion for schools’ management, students and their parents.
Sources told that the initial directive was defended by the local government representatives as required if school-going girls were to protect themselves against indecent incidents.
