ECP issues warning to PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD - Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday has issued warning to PM Imran Khan.

ECP withdrew its notices against Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan for violation of the electoral code of conduct, giving warning to the PM to remain careful in the future.

A two-member commission - headed by Chief Election Commissioner Justice (r) Muhammad Raza - heard electoral violations in NA-63 Jehlum, NA-162 Sahiwal and NA-120 Lahore.

Imran Khan’s counsel informed the commission that ECP issued a notice to PM for violation of the code of conduct in by-polls, however, it was challenged in the High Court and it was rejected.
