Palestine to act more like full member in 2019: UN

United Nations has allowed the Palestinians to act more like a full UN member state during meetings when they will chair the group of 77 developing nations next year.
In 193-member United Nations General Assembly, United States, Israel and Australia voted against this move, which won 146 votes in favor.
This status upgrade has allowed Palestine to participate in some General Assembly votes and join some international bodies.
