Mohammad Abbas makes historic record in Test Cricket

DUBAI - Pakistan’s Mohammad Abbas has made yet another historic record in Test Cricket.

He took five wickets in the first innings of the second Test against Australia.

With his five-wicket haul, Abbas has now bagged 54 wickets in only the 10th Test match. He currently holds the record of for most Test wickets by a Pakistani pace bowler after 10 Test matches.

The young right-arm paceman also has the best average for a Test bowler with 50 or more wickets in the last hundred years.

Only three English fast bowlers GA Lohmann, JJ Ferris and William Barnes last played in 189, had better averages than Abbas.
