Imran Khan decides to appear before ECP on 26th

ISLAMABAD: PTI chairman Imran Khan has decided to appear before the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on October 26.

The decision was made during a meeting of PTI Core Group at Bani Gala on Monday. The meeting also decided to move the Islamabad High Court against the warrants issued by the ECP.

The participants observed that the ECP had failed to perform its basic job. They said that the ECP has not learnt anything from the investigation of the Judicial Commission.

They said that the ECP has failed to rectify over 40 anomalies pointed out by the PTI. “The ECP overlooked the violation of the code of conduct by the N-League in the NA-120 by-polls,” he said.

They said that stopping the PTI from criticizing the ECP or the Election Commissioner is tantamount to a blot on political and democratic values.

On the other hand, the Islamabad police have received the warrants of Imran Khan.
