Army Chief has right to comment on Economy: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has the right to comment on economy.
In a statement on Monday, he said that there is no tension in civil-military relations, but there can be a difference of opinion.
He said that the accountability court can summon the Rangers.
The prime minister said that a change should be made in accordance with the constitution. “The history will decide why Nawaz Sharif was ousted,” he said.
He was of the view that Ch Nisar has different opinion due to democracy. “The opposition is the beauty of the parliament.”
PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that everyone had refuted the views of Capt (retd) Safdar.
