Pakistan Foreign Exchange reserves touch unprecedented levels

KARACHI: (APP) Pakistan's liquid foreign exchange reserves of the country stood at dollars 24.096 billion, said State Bank of Pakistan.
SBP's weekly statement issued here on Thursday said the foreign reserves held by State Bank on November 11 , amounted $ 19,027.1 million and the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were $ 5,068.7 million.
During the week, the country's total reserves decreased by $ 58 million to $ 24,096 million.
The decrease in reserves was mainly due to payments on account of external debt servicing.
