Pakistan needs extra ordinary measures to combat the menace of terrorism: CJP Anwar Zaheer Jamali
ISLAMABAD: CJP Anwar Zaheer Jamali said Terrorism is a burning issue of Pakistan. Thousands of people have lost their precious lives in terrorist activities. Its high time to take effective measures against terrorism. While addressing the foundation stone ceremony of new Anti- Terrorist Courts (ATC) building in Karachi, he said Pakistan is facing an internal and external security challenge since 9/11 incident. He further urged all the institutions to play their role for a prosperous and secure Pakistan. We would have to make an effective strategy to overcome the terrorist activities. It is the responsibility of judges to provide speedy and cheap justice to the people of Pakistan. “Better environment and protection of the judges for ATCs is extremely crucial,” he reiterated. “This is equally important for provision of timely justice” He added.
