NCOC takes important decision over the tourism ban across country

ISLAMABAD - National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has announced an indefinite ban on tourism across the country. ------------------------------

The government has ordered all the markets to close by 8 PM and has allowed the resumption of office work in regular working hours and at a 50 percent sitting capacity. The NCOC will issue instructions pertaining to general travel accordingly.

Over the weekend, the NCOC decided to ease the lockdown restrictions that had been imposed for the Eid holidays to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus by limiting the movement of people.

Public transport between the provinces, cities, and within cities was resumed on Sunday on the condition that each vehicle will utilize only 50 percent of the seating capacity and that all the passengers will follow the SOPs issued by the government. Railway operations have also been resumed with the instruction to use no more than 70 percent occupational capacity.
