ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar on Saturday said the government was ready to provide the best medical treatment facilities to former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as per his desire.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) should better stop doing politics on the issue and give the names of doctors from whom its leader wanted to get his treatment, Dar said while talking to a private news channel.
He said the PML-N leader was not serious in getting treatment in the country as he was insisting to go abroad on that pretext.
Usman Dar said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would not compromise on corruption. The corrupt would not let go scot-free and they would have to face the music, he added
He said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and the Pakistan Peoples Party had registered cases against the leaders of each other for corrupt practices during their respective governments, but today they had joined hands to save their skin.
Some leaders of opposition parties were defending their leadership instead of condemning for indulging in corruption, he added.
Dar said the PTI government was implementing the National Action Plan (NAP) in its letter and spirit.
