NSA leaves for Kabul today to discuss regional security issues with Afghan leadership

ISLAMABAD:National Security Adviser Nasser Khan Janjua will leave for Kabul today on a day long visit to Afghanistan to hold talks with Afghan counterpart Haneef Atmar on bilateral relations and regional security issues.
He is visiting Afghanistan on a special invitation of the Afghan National Security Adviser.
During his visit, Nasser Khan Janjua will also meet Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah and NDS Chief.
Both sides will work together and chalk out a way forward to improve bilateral relations and enhance cooperation particularly with reference to the peace initiative undertaken by the President of Afghanistan.
Pakistan fully acknowledges that peaceful Afghanistan means peaceful Pakistan.
Both countries have a common future and common destiny. APP/AFP
