Imran Khan launches KP Tourism Policy with an expected revenue of Rs. 50 Billion




ABBOTTABAD: While announcing the Tourism Policy of KPK here at Abbottabad, Imran Khan said that Rs. 50 billion annual income is expected with the implementation of new tourism policy. 

 

As per details, he was addressing the launching ceremony regarding tourism policy here at Wednesday. Imran said that we will have to take effective measures to protect our culture while new tourism policy will create opportunities of employment for the locals.

 

He said that KPK government is making all possible efforts to promote tourism in the province while new eco-friendly resorts are being built in different parts of Galiyat for the promotion of local and foreign tourism. 

 

“Mian Sab” will also copy our tourism policy like Tsunami Billion Tree Campaign of KPK government. Imran stated.

 

Imran Khan further added that the audit of Tsunami Tree Campaign is being carried out by WWF-Pakistan.  The report of WWF-Pakistan declared a remarkable survival rate of plantation as 85% because locals are taking interest to protect their trees and are promoting healthy environment.
