EU Special representative calls on COAS in GHQ today

RAWALPINDI: EU Special representative for Afghanistan Franz-Michael Mellibin called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif in GHQ, Rawalpindi here at Thursday.
As per details, both dignitaries exchanged views over regional security situation in the meeting. According to ISPR, matters related to peace process in Afghanistan were also came under discussion in the meeting. Affairs related to mutual interest were also discussed in the meeting.
Speaking at the occasion, EU Special representative lauded the role of Pak Army for the elimination of terrorism. He also paid rich tribute to the martyrs of Pak Army who lost their lives to root out the menace of terrorism.
The successes of Pak Army were also appreciated by Franz Michael in the meeting.
