Australian Air Chief appreciates PAF professionalism with COAS in Ops Zarb-e-Azb





CANBERRA: Australian Air Force Chief, Air Marshal Leo Davies appreciated PAF professionalism with Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif in Operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorism during Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman’s visit to Australia.

 

Both the leaders discussed to hold training exercises between the two Air Forces to gain benefit from each other’s experiences.

 

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman is on a two days official visit to Australia to strengthen ties in defence and military field.

 

Air Chief also discussed about the delivery of first two F-35 Lightning Joint Strike fighters which is due in 2018 and remaining 70 by 2023.

 

Air vice Marshal Chris Deeble assured that the Fighters delivery will be met on the due date.

 


Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman also invited his Australian counterpart to visit Airpower Centre of Excellence in Pakistan.  

 

Both leaders also agreed to expand their cooperation to counter terrorism for peace in the region.
