COVID-19 positive cases reach 154,760 across country: NCOC

ISLAMABAD-The COVID-19 caseload in Pakistan had reached 154,760 with 5,839 new cases reported during last 24 hours, an official of National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Coronavirus said on Wednesday.
Sharing the data, he said that total 2,975 deaths had been reported from the disease with 136 reported during last 24 hours. He said that 58,437 patients had been recovered.
He added total 950,782 tests had been conducted while in last 24 hours 28,117 tests were conducted. He said 57,868 cases were reported from Sindh, 58,239 from Punjab, 19,107 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 9,242 from Islamabad, 1,164 from Gilgit Baltistan, 8,437 from Balochistan and 703 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
He said that so far 27,737 active cases were reported from Sindh, 39,310 from Punjab, 13,454 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6,713 from Islamabad, 409 from Gilgit Baltistan, 5,325 from Balochistan and 400 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
He said that 886 deaths had been reported from Sindh, 1,149 from Punjab, 731 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 90 from Islamabad, 17 from Gilgit Baltistan, 89 from Balochistan and 13 deaths were reported from AJK.
He said that 29,245 patients had recovered in Sindh, 17,780 in Punjab, 4,922 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,439 in Islamabad, 738 Gilgit Baltistan, 3,023 in Balochistan and 290 in AJK.
