Pakistan Military General schooled top Indian Minister

RAWALPINDI - Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor schooled India’s union home minister Amit Shah as he reminded him not to compare ‘strikes’ to a cricket ‘match’ or else remember Pakistan downing two Indian jets earlier this year.

Following India’s win against Pakistan in the ICC World Cup 2019 on Sunday, the Indian minister took to his Twitter to celebrate his country’s win and wrote, “Another strike on Pakistan by Team India and the result is same”. The Indian politician further wrote that every Indian is feeling proud and celebrating the impressive win.

Major General Asif Ghafoor took to his personal Twitter handle and acknowledged India’s win and wrote that the Indian team played well. However, the DG ISPR told the Indian politician not to compare two things with different denominators, such as ‘strikes’ and ‘match’.

“If in doubt please see results of our Nowshera counter strikes and response to IAF violation on 27 Feb 19 downing two Indian jets. Stay Surprised,” the DG ISPR added.
